It has been 16 months since I’ve posted anything to this blog – since that female cardinal knocked itself out trying to fly through my sliding glass door into my dining area. Maybe these pictures will help me revive it (my blog, not the cardinal).
It’s May and, despite our weird and whacky spring weather our blooms this year have been spectacular. While the Seventeen Year Brood 2 cicadas buzz in the background, my entire hillside is covered with mountain laurel blooms – probably the best crop of them in the 13 years I’ve been in Hollywood.
